Free WiFi on CalTrain?

Caltrain WiMax tests a success!

Wow! CalTrain might soon become the preferred method of travel up and down the penninsula…

Hey, now moving up to the city and living in SOMA and taking CalTrain to Mountain View seems like a pretty productive idea :)

Google launches Gmail edition for mobile devices

Finally! I wonder what took so long…

I expected it to be a really cool, snappy app like Google Local Mobile, but I guess we’ll just have to settle for the mobile web access :)

EVDO: I’m a believer

Heck yes. I can’t wait until we get low-cost, ubiquitous high speed internet access. I don’t really care what technology makes it happen, EVDO, EDGE, 802.11… it’s all the same to me. I just want to pay $20 / month and be able to get online from wherever I am.

I also agree with Cory that $10 for a few hours of WiFi at the airport is ridiculous. Why don’t any other airline providers realize how much people appreciate Jet Blue’s free WiFi and provide the same for their customers? It can’t be that expensive for them…
